Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of the BOSS PULSE app and website ("BOSS PULSE", "the app"), operated by Boss Money Mortgage Brokers Pty Ltd (ABN 28 636 568 842), trading as Boss Money ("we", "us", "our"). We are an authorised credit representative 371972 of Finsure Finance and Insurance Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 384704).

By using BOSS PULSE, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What BOSS PULSE is, and what it is not

BOSS PULSE is an information tool. It compares details you enter about your home loan against benchmark rates and gives you an indicative view of how competitive your loan is, along with the option to book a call or make an enquiry with Boss Money.

Your result is general information only. It is an indication, not a formal rate quote, a pre approval, an offer of credit, or a recommendation that any product is suitable for you. It does not take into account your full financial situation, needs or objectives.

The benchmark rates and scores are general and change over time. Your actual rate and what you may qualify for depend on a lender's own assessment of your circumstances. You should not make a decision based on your BOSS PULSE result alone.

3. Not credit advice

Using BOSS PULSE does not create a broker or client relationship and is not the provision of credit assistance or credit advice. Credit assistance is only provided once you formally engage Boss Money, at which point you will receive our Credit Guide and the usual disclosures, and any advice will be based on your individual circumstances.

4. Eligibility

To use BOSS PULSE you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Australia. By using the app you confirm that you meet these requirements.

5. Your information must be accurate

You are responsible for the details you enter. Your result is only as accurate as the information you provide, so if your inputs are wrong or out of date your result may be too. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account details, if you create an account, secure.

6. Enquiries and being contacted

If you book a call or make an enquiry, you are asking us to contact you about it, and you consent to Boss Money contacting you by the methods you provide. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out of marketing at any time as described in that policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
• enter information that is false, or that belongs to someone else without their authority;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems; or
• copy, scrape or reuse the app's content or data except as allowed by law.

8. Intellectual property

BOSS PULSE, including its branding, design, content and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors. You may use the app for its intended personal purpose, but you may not copy, modify, distribute or commercialise any part of it without our written permission.

9. Third party lenders and links

BOSS PULSE may refer to or compare third party lenders and their products, and may contain links to third party sites. We do not control those lenders or sites, and a comparison or reference is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for third party products, content or practices.

10. Disclaimers and your rights under Australian Consumer Law

We provide BOSS PULSE with reasonable care, but to the maximum extent permitted by law we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that results will be accurate or complete.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Where our liability can be limited by law, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, BOSS PULSE or your result, including decisions you make based on it. This does not affect the non excludable rights described in section 10.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information and forms part of these terms. Please read it before using the app.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict or stop providing BOSS PULSE, or your access to it, at any time, including if you breach these terms. You can stop using the app at any time and can ask us to delete your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available in the app, and your continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
